Our Story

Bahama Stays started with an investment in a small studio apartment as an attempt to capitalize on the booming local real-estate market. A bit later, a friend needed a hand with their rental unit, then another friend. One thing led to another and Bahama Stays came to life.

Bahama Stays was created through friendship, turned partnership. We’re two expats who enjoy all beautiful Nassau has to offer year-round. We know the local market, we have built a rolodex of trusted vendors and we love sharing our little piece of paradise with clients and guests.

What We Do

LET'S TALK

Staging & Prep

We get your property ready for the first guests. This can include installing self-checkin amenities to coordinating property upgrades.

Setup & Promotion

We’ll get your property ready to list and all the promotion needed to get it booked, including professional photos.

Guest Experience

We handle all guest communication from the first inquiry to the review after check out, including vetting guests that may present a potential hazard to your property.

Turnovers & Cleaning

We schedule and coordinate cleanings, maintenance and restocking of supplies between stays.

After moving from Florida to Nassau in 2014 with my fiancé, I quickly found myself loving all The Bahamas has to offer. Several years, two kids, and a couple of investment properties later, I found myself being naturally pulled in the direction of property management- specifically, short-term rental management. Following in the footsteps of my property-managing parents, I enjoy helping property owners transform their space into unforgettable experiences for guests.

Maggie Sheehan
Cofounder

Hailing from South Georgia, I moved to The Bahamas in 2017 with my husband and rescue pup. A couple kids later and after working remotely through a global pandemic, I was ready to dive into the local market and work with people, face to face. With a background in tech and marketing, I’m keen on building delightful and efficient systems that allow Bahama Stays to serve you in a cost-effective and time-saving manner.
